A visit to our farm can be the beginning of your adventure to Tasmania's picturesque East Coast. We are very close to Winifred Curtis reserve and the Scamander beach both worth a visit. Scamander township is a small community located on both sides of the Scamander River. The township has an IGA general store a chemist and a garage with fuel outlet. Scamander has many B&Bs, several motels as well as the Scamander Beach Hotel. The Sports complex has a 9 hole golf coarse, bowls and a recreational area. Meals are available at the hotel and the Sports Complex. Further afield on the way to St. Helens is Beaumaris. The Surfside restaurant there is a well known local venue. Then for a much bigger shopping experience there is St. Helens which is the heart land of Tasmania and provides many other services.
